It is WNBA semifinals time and I’ve got picks. Glorious best-of-5 series to decide who advances to the WNBA Finals. Let’s get into it.

(4) Seattle vs. (1) Las Vegas

It is a rematch of the 2020 WNBA Finals, that saw the Seattle Storm sweep the Las Vegas Aces 3-0. It wasn’t just a sweep, it was absolute domination by the Storm. With that fresh in their minds, and the COTY Becky Hammon at the helm, the top-seeded Aces are on a mission. The Storm are also on a mission, in this, Sue Bird’s final season.

Winner: Las Vegas Aces

(3) Connecticut vs. (2) Chicago

The defending champion Chicago Sky are even better this season, than they were in last year’s championship season. After getting punched in the mouth by the New York Liberty in their first-round series, the Sky are wide awake. They’ll need to be against a well-rounded Connecticut Sun team, who just fell short of being the 1-seed. They, too, were shaken awake on their first round series against the Dallas Wings. A slouch, they are not.

Winner: Chicago Sky

Both series, in my opinion, are coin flips. All four remaining squads are tremendous. The WNBA Finals will be outstanding no matter who advances. Looking forward to some tough series.
